In particular, we have provided consulting services to the Elsevier Health Sciences Division. Through its medical journals, books, major reference works, databases and online information tools, Elsevier Health Sciences provides critical information and analysis relied upon by their customers to make critical decisions, improve medical outcomes and enhance the efficiency of healthcare.

Delta Think created marketing strategies for several new products, including an aggregated content site for medical specialists and a physician community site. Our work included competitive landscape evaluation, market positioning and differentiation, audience development, levels of messaging, and related A/B testing, management of product creative, and execution of launch-to-operational marketing tactics.

Our consultants managed the tactical marketing for one of Elsevier’s physician-oriented products that provide a forum for case discussion, news updates, and practice challenges. Our work included managing the email recruitment program, developing conference materials, online banner ads, and other related awareness campaigns and activities. We tested different messaging concepts, and produced and reported on site metrics each month.
Our consultants also supported Elsevier by defining and managing a new product development effort targeted at physician and health care professionals. We created standing advisory boards, and led the boards through problem definition, requirements, and prioritization. We have continued to support this implementation with our business and technical analysis as well as project and vendor management services.
