A while back we
spoke about how work location
often didn’t matter
anymore and that knowledge work might very well be the
new cottage industry
.

More and more
people are working independently.

More and more
roles are being filled by people outside the traditional “walls” of the
company.

I stumbled on to The
Virtual Wire
, a blog run by several virtual assistants.

They define a
virtual assistant as:

"A
Virtual Assistant is a highly trained and skilled professional who, as a
support and growth partner to entrepreneurs, business owners, and busy people,
provides high level, long-term collaborative administrative and personal
assistance without having to be physically present in the client’s
office."

I don’t know
about you – but I have got to get me one of those!
