I try to write every day.
But sometimes it’s hard to get started.
Nothing comes to mind.
Or what does come to mind doesn’t seem very note
worthy.
There’s something there – a thought or an idea
worth sharing – but it isn’t within me to tease it out and develop it properly.
Little things get in the way. My head hurts. I only have a half hour (what can I possibly
accomplish in such little time). I’m tired. It’s raining out.
(Whine,
whine, whine)
Together they conspire to undermine my progress.
Other days I can stare them in the face and tell
them to back off, but not today.
Today I’m going to give in to life’s little
annoyances.
Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away and come
back fresh tomorrow.
As long as those times are the exceptions, we’ll
be fine.
So what does this have to do with change?
Everyone needs a rest occasionally
— even if it’s
just a little nap.
See you tomorrow.
Liz – not to get too far off track in the comments box, but there isn’t much that’s normal about you! (That’s one of your endearing qualities)
Normal time, Liz?
I’d my diner at that time 😉

Hey, This is a normal time. I just wanted you guys to know. I’m around now too. 🙂
Karin –
I too have run into Liz at odd times – I think you might be right!!!

Hi Holger –
Thanks for the post. As it turns out I read several of the blogs you highlighted – I’m sure I’ll bump into you in the comments sections!

Hi Ann
IMHO Liz only takes naps, I’ve been chatting with her even before 4am – her time!
Karin H.
I have posted about your blog today:

Hi Karin!
I’m a firm believer in naps (so is Liz – try calling her around 4:30 CST sometime!). There’s nothing like them!

LOL Ann
Sleep tight, don’t let the bed-bugs bite though.
Karin H. (with the same level of annoyance ;-))
Thanks, Liz. I feel more energized already!
Good on you! Time to relight your fuses!
