No one has enough storage space, money, or time.
The more of something we get, the more we seem to
need.
The more information we get, the more we need to
feel fully informed.
The more stimulation we get, the more we need to
stay (or even become) interested.
Ironically, it’s the attempt to meet these “needs”
that often makes us feel defeated, inadequate, or simply exhausted.
We concentrate on what we need to the exclusion of
appreciating what we have!
So, before we run head long into this week, let’s
take a deep breath and identify areas of our lives where we’re completely
satisfied.
Let’s draw some strength from them so that we can focus
on changing what really needs to be changed!
Hi Karin!
I’ve heard great things about Marcus Buckingham. I’ll have to start looking at his materials!

Hi Ann
I just finishes reading/working on-with Go put your strengths to work by Marcus Buckingham.
One of the things you learn is to create – every week! – a strong week plan: writing down those 3 – 4 activities that play to your strengths, so you start the week focused!
(And because I seem to ‘gather’ loads of info, ideas and tips all day long from everywhere, it is something I really need ;-))
