Guess what I did today!
I had lunch with Valeria
Maltoni.
We seem to be a dangerous
combination. We sat down for lunch and
before I knew it 2 hours had gone by.
Since I started blogging
(about 10.5 months ago), I have met Valeria, Seth
Godin, and Liz Strauss in person.
I have met John
Dodds, Pamela Slim, Mike Sansone, The Bawld Guy, Easton Ellsworth, and Steve Farber on the phone and there have
been many others with whom I’ve emailed frequently.
I’ve learned a lot about business, marketing,
media, innovation, and creativity.
All in all this has been a
great experience.
I can’t wait to see what
happens in 2007!
Ooh, that would be GREAT Ann! I was just telling Liz I owe her a cup of coffee. I’ll buy you one too! Are you planning to go to Chicago soon? Send me a note, maybe we can connect up for a weekend?
Phil – You’re always welcome! I hear your just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Liz. If I get to Chicago maybe I’ll be able to convince Liz to go for a ride out to see you!
Ann – I don’t know if I’ll make it to Philly this year or not, but if I do, I’d love to connect with you and Valeria. Quite a dynamic duo the two of you make.
Terry – if you’re ever in the Philadelphia area let me know!
Happy New Year!
What a wonderful picture! It’s really great to meet fellow bloggers in person – I too consider it a gift to get that opportunity. I look forward to meeting both Valeria and you in the not-so-distant future. Happy New Year!
Hi Francie!
Welcome to blogging!
What I find interesting about blogging is that many of us have found ourselves doing this for very different reasons.
I wanted to get some ideas out there and see how people reacted – learn from others and refine my thoughts. It has been wonderful meeting people and hearing what they think. Sometimes I agree. Sometimes I don’t. But I ALWAYS learn something!!!
Hope to see you around (love your blog, btw, I stopped by a few minutes ago).
Ann
I just found your Blog, and feel right at home. Although I can’t remember what path led me here.
I have been fairly absorbed in blogging for just about a month now.
It’s exciting (and inspiring)to see how much you’ve accomplished in less than a year. I recognize a lot of the names here. Have met some electronically – but none in person, yet.
Happy New Year!
Liz: Maybe just a little 🙂
Ann: When do I get to have lunch with you??? Are you in New York? I get there a lot.
Valeria: We should do this more often (next time without pictures – I’ve just been looking for reasons to use my new camera!). Thanks for taking the time!
Thank you, Ann. I really enjoyed learning more about your thinking and your work. I look forward to more collaboration and fun in 2007!
Great photo…! And nice recap of 2006. Things evolve/change so quickly in our world… that 2007 is sure to be interesting!
Happy New Year.
A dangerous combination! That’s putting it lightly! 🙂
